Think of Main Street United Methodist as your home away from home, a place where you don't have to worry about your past or present, the clothes you wear, your knowledge of the Bible, or anything else that might hold you back from church. Don Bennett, Administrative Assistant, is in the office Monday through Friday, 8 AM - Noon.

Pastor Harvey is in the office 8AM - Noon Monday through Thursday

Come as You Feel Comfortable

We tend to be business casual, some of our members dress in suits and ties while others wear jeans and t-shirts.

Bring Your Children

Our church is equipped with a nursery for children under the age of five. It is located right alongside our sanctuary so your little ones are always within easy reach but safely monitored according to our Safe Sanctuary Policy, so you can worship without distraction. Sunday School is offered for both youth K-8th grade and adults at 9 AM. A children’s message is offered during the service.

Worship at 10 AM

Come early to enjoy coffee with others prior to gathering in the sanctuary. You can expect Bible-based sermons, and a pianist-led, traditional worship service with occasional special music. Communion is served the first Sunday of the month where all are welcome.

Meet Pastor Garland Harvey Jr

If you are reading this then the questions most likely on your mind might be: Where is this pastor coming from? What is his belief in how God moves in our life? And how does his belief match my own thoughts and feelings? These are certainly the questions that go through my mind when I am checking out a pastor online.

I will answer these questions by saying the following: I believe that God meets us where we are, not where others think we should be. I believe in the sanctifying grace of God. Jesus said “Go forth and make disciples of all nations” I believe that all means all. Therefore, it doesn't matter who you are, or what you have done there is a home for you here at Main Street United Methodist. When I first went to church I thought to myself after all the things I have done there is no way that God wants anything to do with me and I was proven wrong. If you are thinking similar thoughts it would be my great honor to show you that you too are mistaken.
